Hear Quinn talk

Paperjam.lu

Former Irish international football player Niall Quinn will be the special guest at an Irish Chamber event.

The Ireland Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce has invited former Republic of Ireland international footballer and chairman of Sunderland Football Club to be its guest at an event just two days before the Republic of Ireland hosts Wales in a crunch FIFA World Cup Qualifying Group D match. Victory for Ireland would go a long way to see the Republic qualify for the finals in Russia in 2018.

Quinn, who represented Ireland at Euro 1988 and the World Cups in 1990 and 2002 also played club football for Arsenal, Manchester City and Sunderland, spending seven seasons at each club. He was later also the chairman of Sunderland.

He will talk about his life in football and Ireland’s chances on Friday and of qualifying for the finals, and then be interviewed on stage by Geoff Thompson. A question and answer session will precede a networking cocktail to round off the event.

Registration can be done here.
