Residents are invited to attend an information session about the new community garden, which has been modelled after similar gardens already established in Bonnevoie, the Ville-Haute/Gare and Limpertsberg.
The Pfaffenthal garden will be cultivated following certain ecological guidelines--that is, without the use of pesticides, chemicals or GMOs. In addition to receiving practical training, participants will have a chance to meet their neighbours, as the garden is a 400 m2 shared plot.
Interested parties will have a chance to register during the information session or online starting on March 27 through the VDL website. Twelve candidates in total will be selected to tend the garden.
