The University of Luxembourg has joined forces with the Restena Foundation to help consumers better understand changes to their personal data rights.

The general data protection regulation will significantly alter the way data is handled within Europe when it enters into force on 25 May 2018. This event aims to raise awareness about and promote privacy and data protection. A panel of speakers will consider current trends, legal and practical aspects and the technical context of data privacy and data protection.

Speakers include Dr Sandrine Munoz, Data Protection Officer, University of Luxembourg, Dr Cynthia Wagner, Research Engineer, Fondation Restena, Christian Hutter, Chief Information Security Officer, University of Luxembourg and Michel Sinner, Head of controls, CNPD.
