Danish dance shindig

The National Danish Performance Team is bringing their spectacular show IMANI to Centre Atert in Bertrange.

The team is a group of 28 young gymnasts who travel the world every two years, doing workshop with children and performing their world class show IMANI.

IMANI includes a dynamic mix of tumbling, vaulting, dance and acrobatics put together to form graceful and colourful choreographies. IMANI means believing in Swahili: believing in yourself, in one another and in the community. The three different dimensions, I - WE - US, is the revolving theme in this year’s show.

The group has already travelled to 12 countries on 6 continents, performed 126 shows and done 160 workshops. Now they’re on the last leg of their tour before heading back to Denmark.

Tickets for the show cost €15 adults and €5 for children (ages 3-15). Presale tickets can be purchased at ByDK, Dania, ScanShop and the Fairy. Tickets can also be purchased at the door or reserved on [email protected].

All proceeds of the show will be donated to Trisomie 21 Lëtzebuerg, a Luxembourgish association committed to helping people with Down’s Syndrome and their families.
