Food is prepared by Syrians living in Luxembourg in a bid to share their culture with the people of Luxembourg. One of the group's organisers, Nisreen Bassmaje said she hopes the event will serve a connecting role between people.
"Luxembourg always supports and urges its citizens to develop their skills and activities, provides them the moral and practical support in order to have a chance building a bright future for their new life with a complete secure and stable manners on its wonderful land," she said.
Participation cost €50 and includes a freshly prepared Syrian dinner at the International School Luxembourg lower school building.
75% of the proceeds will go to Unicef’s Syrian Crisis Appeal and 25% towards integration projects in Luxembourg at Hariko.
