This five-day intensive course enables the participant to understand specific principles and concepts proposed by ISO/IEC 27034 for AS and to develop the expertise to prepare and perform internal/external audits at the organization level or at the application level, in respect with the International Standard ISO/IEC 27034.
The responsibility of an ISO/IEC 27034 Application Security Lead auditor is also to manage a team of auditors by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques. During this training, the participant will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to proficiently plan and perform internal and external audits in compliance with the certification process of the ISO 19011 standard. Based on practical exercises, the participant will develop the skills (mastering audit techniques, managing audit teams and audit program, communicating with customers, conflict resolution, etc.) necessary to efficiently conduct an audit.
Objectives:
- To acquire the expertise needed to perform an ISO/IEC 27034 internal audit following the ISO/IEC 19011 guidelines
- To acquire the expertise needed to perform an ISO/IEC 27034 certification audit following the ISO/IEC 19011 guidelines and the specifications of ISO 17021 and ISO/IEC 27006
- To acquire the necessary expertise to manage an AS audit team
- To understand the significance (scope and limitations) of an ISO/IEC 27034 conformance claim for an organization or an application
- To understand the relationship between AS including risk management, controls, evidence and compliance with AS requirements of different stakeholders of the organization
- To improve the ability to analyze the internal and external environment of an organization, its risk assessment and audit decision-making
