King’s Day is a national celebration in the Netherlands to mark the birthday of their king.
Because this year King’s Day falls on a Friday (27 April) before a bank holiday Monday when people may be away, Luxembourg’s Dutch community has brought festivities a day earlier.
Now dubbed “King’s Night”, the party promises to be every bit as fun with silly accessories, Dutch food and, of course, a lot of orange!
People of all nationalities are invited to join in the festivities, meet the Dutch ambassador and find out more about the country’s Dutch community.
Did we mention don’t forget to wear orange?
