“Bee” with pollinators

Paperjam.lu

Bees pollinate about one-third of crops worldwide--significant, if you consider that around 80% of all crops require pollination (also from birds, butterflies, bats and other pollinators).

But according to pollinator.org, pollinators are dropping at an “alarming rate” and “global action [is] required now to change this trend.”

Bee Together and the Remich section of natur&ëmwelt are organising an event to help increase public awareness about wild solitary bees.

During a guided tour, participants will discover various species of these fascinating little pollinators, including information on their lifecycle and concrete steps to take to help improve their habitat.

The event is free of charge, although donations are welcome.

Unable to attend? Consider helping solitary bees at home with a few simple steps.
