The event, which discovers the latest findings in space exploration, will have its own TV channel accessible via any satellite TV (featured by CNN, BBC, RTL etc).
Among the confirmed speakers are a number of astronauts including Ed Lu (US), Nicole Stott (US), Dorin Prunariu (first and only Romanian astronaut), Michel Tognini (French) and Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart.
They will be joined by asteroid expert Patrick Michel and Pete Worden, from the NASA Ames Research Center.
Luxembourg and space resources
Luxembourg last year announced plans to play a leading role in the exploration and extraction of space resources.
By establishing a legal framework, it set out to ensure that space resources explored under its jurisdiction serve a peaceful purpose, are gathered and used in a sustainable manner compatible with international law and for the benefit of humankind.
A new law in Luxembourg establishes the principle that space resources are subject to appropriation and companies that mine metals or extract gases and water will be able to claim them as their own.
It sets out the procedures for authorising and supervising missions to explore and harvest space resources, in accordance with international treaty obligations.
Meanwhile, the government is providing substantial financial assistance to academic research and private sector projects developing the technologies needed to explore and use space resources. LuxIMPULSE is also providing funding to help companies bring innovative ideas to market.

Asteroid Day is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn the dangers asteroids pose and what we can do to protect our families, communities, and future generations. The United Nations declared June 30 as Asteroid Day.
The date of Asteroid Day commemorates the anniversary of the Tunguska asteroid impact over Siberia, Russian Federation, on 30 June 1908.
All around the globe, regionally organised events are held on Asteroid Day. These events range from live concerts and community events, to lectures and other educational programmes, to raise public awareness of the need for increased detection and mapping of asteroids.
