Elastophobics is a band who met on Jam Session in Maastricht in 2012. Gilles Bernard is a Luxembourgish drummer who studied in Maastricht and met during his studies Slawek Semeniuk, they became friends and used to jam together. Gilles Bernard and Tom Heck are from Luxembourg, that's how they know each other.
Those three musicians were asked to play a gig but they never played together before. The gig was fun, spontanous, exciting so they decided to make a band. Elastophobics plays mainly own compositions, influenced by everything that grooves (blues, jazz, rock, funk, r&b, reaggy a.s.o.). It's an instrumental trio, with all kinds of influences.
