Grant Thornton Luxembourg is pleased to announce the launch of its new «Grant Thornton BPO Solutions» department, dedicated to banks and other players in the financial services sector. The primary focus will be on tax reporting and will cover Fatca/CRS reporting as well as the production of clients’ tax statements.
Regulatory obligations related to client tax reporting have recently soared (reporting of income on saving products under the EUSD, reporting of US accounts under Fatca and forthcoming CRS reporting in relation to the automatic exchange of information…). Furthermore bank customers increasingly request tax statements on the income and charges on their financial assets held abroad, such to include them in their tax returns.
Grant Thornton Luxembourg has a long standing experience in providing tax, accounting, banking advisory and support to a diversified range of customers. We are the Luxembourg representative of the 6th largest worldwide tax, audit and advisory network which is represented in 140 countries plus.
Leveraging on these strengths, «Grant Thornton BPO Solutions» will manage and mutualise tax solutions, regulatory watch, calculation engine and tax reporting expertise on one platform supported by a strong team of banking and tax consultants. This one-stop-shop service will allow all types of Luxembourg financial institutions to delegate tax reporting obligations to ourselves, as a trusted partner.
A presentation of «Grant Thornton BPO Solutions» for tax reporting will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd 2016 at Namur, 2 rue de Bitbourg in Luxembourg-Hamm.
